Performance & Session Work

My musical career has led me to play in a number of bands with a range of musical styles. As a result of this I am capable of delivering a solid and authentic performance regardless of the style of music in any given situation. I have a wealth of experience in recording and am more than comfortable in a studio environment. My command of the instrument, ability to improvise and a certified knowledge of stylistic appreciation has led to me being commissioned for many live musical projects ranging from Ceilidh to traditional function bands.

Arranging, Composition & Transcription

I have extensive experience in writing many forms of music in a variety of styles too long to list. My experience includes writing my own music, writing to a theme, arranging existing pieces and transcribing parts. I have experience of synchronising music to film and have composed a full orchestral score for a final year degree film. My attitude to work, coupled with extensive theory knowledge has enabled me to approach projects I might otherwise be unfamiliar with and deliver professional results.
